Why HMAC-SHA-256 sealed recordings?
Every recorded session is cryptographically sealed at capture time. If anyone modifies the recording after the fact, the seal breaks. This provides tamper-evident audit logs suitable for SOC2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS compliance audits.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Base gets a 14-day free trial, Enterprise gets a 30-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card required.

What is the Audit add-on?

Audit adds tamper-proof session recording (HMAC-SHA-256 sealed), session replay, SIEM/syslog/webhook event export, and credential masking. It requires an active Enterprise license. You can add it at any time — or save with the Enterprise + Audit bundle at EUR 649/year.

How do AI agents use sshDCommander?

AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf call sshDCommander via CLI (e.g., sshdcmd --server prod "command"). The persistent daemon keeps SSH connections alive between tool calls. Server profiles mean no credentials in prompts.

How does licensing work?

After purchase, you receive a license key. Run sshdctl activate KEY --email [email protected] to activate. One active installation per license. Deactivate and reactivate on a different machine at any time.

Can Enterprise replace Base?

Yes. Enterprise is a separate package (sshdcommander-enterprise) that replaces Base — they are not co-installable. Enterprise includes all Base features plus the enterprise governance layer.

What happens when my license expires?

Subscriptions auto-renew via Stripe. If cancelled, the software works until the subscription period ends, then enters a 48-hour grace period for data export. Your config files and data are never deleted.
